Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been roped in to lend her voice to the titular character of Maleficent: Mistress of Evil in the Hindi version. The beauty recently shared the Hindi teaser of the upcoming Disney film with a new twist. She is see dressed in the titular character of the Disney film and interact with the viewers about her plans of sabotaging Princess Aurora’s impending marriage with Prince Phillip.

Maleficent: Mistress Of Evil is a sequel to the 2014 film Maleficent, which featured Sharlto Copley, Juno Temple, Imelda Staunton and Sam Riley along with Angelina and Elle. The Disney film was based on the classic fairy tale The Sleeping Beauty. The modern retelling of the life of Sleeping Beauty’s arch-nemesis, cast an instant spell on audiences and went on to gross more than $750 million worldwide.

Abhishek Bachchan appreciated his wife in the neatest way likely. “How cool is this!” he tweeted.

The sequence features Elle Fanning as Princess Aurora, Sam Riley as Diaval, Imelda Staunton, Juno Temple, and Lesley Manville. The new cast members on board are Chiwetel Ejiofor, Ed Skrein, Robert Lindsay, and Harrison Dickinson as Prince Phillip. This flick is helmed by Joachim Rønning. It is set to hit the screen on 18 October.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is next going to be seen in Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior with Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan, Kajol and others, which is slated to release on 10 January 2020.
